Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Vehicles may only be used in the following countries free of charge:
Austria, Czech Republic (excluding vehicles in category H and L), Belgium, Croatia (excluding vehicles in category H and L), Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Norway, Holland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Slovenia (excluding vehicles in category H and L), Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
Vehicles are equipped with a “Green card” (international insurance certificate) and documents required to cross the border. Please advise Maggiore of your travel plans upon your arrival.
With regard to the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Croatia, rental vehicles are not permitted to pass through maritime and river ports.
If you drive the rented vehicle into a non-authorised country, any insurance coverage is no more valid and you will be responsible for any expenses that may occur. You are responsible for the correct use and for any ordinary maintenance of the vehicle.
