DEPOSIT AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:
ACCEPTED American Express, Diners Club, Discover Card, Japanese Credit Bureau Credit Card, MasterCard (not prepaid), Visa (not prepaid). Debit card not accepted unless otherwise stated below. A deposit amount of EUR 600 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental. Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Damage Waiver Liability section. Credit card(s) must be valid for up to 6 months after the rental has ended. NOT ACCEPTED: No other payment types will be accepted. A valid credit card in the first name and surname (no abbreviations) of the lead driver must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorise/charge a deposit. The credit card(s) must be embossed and a PIN number may be required. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Driver's age
25 to 99 years.
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Cross Border:
The vehicle selection can restrict travel to certain countries. For a description of these restrictions on admission, the countries are divided into three zones.
Zone 1: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Vatican.
Zone 2: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia
Zone 3: All countries which are not in zone 1 or 2.
Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen cars up to group L*** are allowed to enter only in Zone 1 countries as well as Poland and the Czech Republic.
Jaguar, Maserati, Land Rover and Porsche cars as well as all luxury cars may enter only in Zone 1 countries.
Entry into countries of zone 2 is permitted with following Offroader/SUV: Opel Mokka, Volvo XC60/XC70, Nissan Qashqai, Ford Kuga und Fiat 500x. Offroader/SUV of other manufacturers are just permitted to enter in countries of zone 1.
Entry into any country in zone 3 is not permitted.
The local transport of the vehicle by ferry is permitted in compliance with the above-mentioned entry restrictions. Damage to the vehicle during the crossing will be covered according to the protection booked in the rental contract.
The car models Fiat 500, 500x, 500L and Alfa Romeo Giulietta cannot be returned in the following regions of Southern Italy: Campania, Apulia, Molise, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia.
In case of offence against cross border and territorial restrictions all insurances lose their validity.
Excess insurance:
If Loss Damage Waiver incl. Theft Protection with minimum excess is accepted, the renter will be held liable in the event of theft in the regions of Apulia, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise or Sicily with the following amounts:

1100 EUR: Intermediate; CF**; CW**
1250 EUR: Standard; CT**
1400 EUR: Full Size - Deluxe; IT**
1600 EUR: STAR
1750 EUR: Xtraordinary; PT**; LT**; LS**
Please note:
In the event the rental car might get stolen in the Italian regions of Apulia, Basilicta, Calabria, Campania, Molise or Sicily, the excess will increase to 50% of the excess available for charge D.
